Inspired by Ebony Leopard and others here is my anthro pokemon.

This is Splasher the Magikarp, he is second in command of team Yellow 17. Yellow is the Junior class color, 17 is just the team number they were assigned. He may not look like much, but he's a determined fighter. His one major hang up is a fear of evolving. He could easily evolve to a Gyarados but fears he will loose his love of literature and poetry by doing so - this actually happend to his best friend who went from carefree, happy fighter and artist to power-mad player with no interst in arts of any sort.
He makes up for his lack of abilities by accessorizing, he wears a Focus Band, a Polkadot Bow to enhance his attack power and an Everstone around his neck to be doubly sure he never evolves by accident.

Magikarp are something of a joke in pokemon, they don't have many abilities at all, and the ones they do have aren't all that great.
