I bet we can all agree that 2020 is a messy and disastrous year with all of the fires, pandemic, political conflicts, and hatred.

Even I was asking God ‘why is this happening?’
God response to me was ‘because the world has rejected Me (God). They would rather hate one another, hold grudges, and not forgive one another.’

If the world did have the love of God the world would be a better place. Only the love God can heal the world of disasters. Only the love God will bring peace and healing. Only the love God will bring equality to the people.

Jesus clear told everyone: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Without that love, there can be no true peace to the world. Sadly, even people who are followers of Christ failed to remember that and chose to side with the world by only choose who they want to love and hate the others.

Jesus also said: “For if you forgive other people when they sinned against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others for their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
We can’t expect God to favor us if our hearts are full of anger and hatred towards others.
When Christ was killed on the cross by the people, He did not hold a grudge. Instead before He died He told God to forgive them. We need to start doing the same to others. Only then we will have peace of mind.

This year was a mess, but it was also an eye-opener because we can clearly see that we need the help and love of God more than ever.

Seek after the Lord, and He will bring us peace and comfort! But if not, things will only get worst. We were warned, we can’t say we never warned.
