I haven't played "Hyper Light Drifter" (and likely will never get to) but the screenshots that this commissioner sent me ("Nicco", FA unknown) had great color comps and helped me try some new things here. Semi-abstract backgrounds, increasingly saturated colors, and less linework than usual all combined to make a pretty fresh piece!
