Has anyone else felt as if their idenity followed them as their shadow? I mean, I know what I am, and I know what my persona is, but what are we? It feels as if I am hiding a dark secret sometimes, but I don't want to do anything dark...
...( besides turning every human into a furry version of themself through the use of nanobots that will restructure a person's DNA and body structure... but that's it )...
... So for now all I have is me and my shadow.

I like this. I did a dark portrait of myself (human) once, very ominious, then I put my lupine shadow in the back. It was done in charcoal and was very forboding because I felt exactly what you mentioned above. I felt hidden under flesh facade without anyone being able to see how I view myself and at times wished to look like I felt I should because that was how I looked to me. But we are who we are, we choose how we perceive to be.
