Honestly, I hated how Capcon did the RE2 remake. They took scenes and changed them around then added stuff that wasn't necessary and ruined the pasting of the story.
Also I like look of RE2, the city in chaos with zombies roaming around the destruction of Raccoon City. Also, it took time to build up in the story while the remake was just a in rush to get to point A to point B. You know what I mean?

RE2 Remake's campaign is a massive plot inconsistency, with Annette, Mr.X dying and fighting Birkin 1st and 3rd forms twice in both campaign. And player's choice no longer matter in A scenario to B scenario gameplay.
In RE3 Remake they got lazy and rushed the game out, with little content.

I haven't been impress with any game remakes lately.
Didn't like how RE2 remake was done and Destroy All Humans remake was terrible. Only one I did enjoy was the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy.
While their are some good new games out there, however I feel sometimes you can't beat the classics.
