Okay.. going to throw my 2 cents onto this. Since I -just- found out (after listening to it) what the song centered around.
In the very first few minutes of the song, listening to it, I found I enjoyed it. I like the genre and musical influence used. As the song progressed, oddly enough I began to feel some rather strong shifts in emotion. By the 2nd to last minute of the song, I turned to
voodoowolf and asked her what she ment when she said (a few minutes prior) that the song was "based on me."
Unlike many fursona out there, Dearc and I are very connected. He isn't who I wish I was, or aspired to be, but more of a culmination of who I AM, and what I've gone through in my 29 years of existence.
She told me about the conversation you two had as the song was wrapping up. Sir (assuming you are), your work is amazing. Seeing that you researched me a bit through the bits and pieces of my life I put up you managed to capture a lot of different emotions and put them into this song.
When she told me how you two came about the song, in my mind it makes sense, because of the emotional level you touched me personally on. Logically though, you're astonishing with the ability to delve into someone's life for a minute and find the right notes.
I could almost taste lyrics with this song too. Thank you for your work. This is wonderful on many many levels.
