Here is a divider/compass scribe tool I've made. It's basically two small rectangular slices I took off of a lawn mower blade and then forged to shape.
When you make things like this, you make the other half the exact same way as the first one, so when you flip one over, they fit together.
The tips of of this tool are hardened to its maximum with no tempering. I do not at all plan to strike this tool and I will just have to keep in mind that if I drop or knock this against something hard, the tips may snap off.
All in all, these work very well for what I will probably use them for in the future.
