Harmonious the centuries
The land and I were one
My soil, my water, my air
Bringer of light
And master of night
In balance, the earth in my care
- Cernunnos by Faith and Muse

Cernunnos is one of my Patron Gods (aside from Aengus Og and Dagda). He is one in the same with the Green Man. In some tales, he is the first son of Danu (Anu).
Cernunnos ushers in all seasons, knows all things, and is the master of the hunt. He is beautiful and young in the spring, vibrant and wise in the summer, old and dying in the fall, and dead in the winter. He comes to life again, on Beltane, and allows the hunters to follow the path of the deer once more.
Cernunnos leads the sleeping soul on its journey to know the earth and oceans. Listening to him will guide you back to nature and the fertility that is at the heart of the world.
The earliest depictions of Cernunnos date back to early BC eras, but he is not generally lumped in with the remainder of the Tuatha de Danann (as he is not usually in the family tree).
