Yeah this was about what I expected.Hes literally set up a situation where the few people who would support her now think shes gone off the deep end and a good chunk of the gang would be happier if she wasnt in it anyway.

Gantus put himself in a win-win situation. This assault at the homeless was planned as you said. And he knew Kalita has a soft spot of them. So he assumed rightfully that she would be pushed over the hedge by this. Now Kalita has alienated all possible allies within the gang. If she had any. And he know if she fight him hiw victory(remember kalita knew she could not take on gantus alone) will further cement his rule on the gang proving without doubt that he is the one in charge. Kalita as i said is becoming another reflection of Muko and Cookie situation she let her emotion took control of her action without thinking and feel in the trap of her opponent

Kalita's outrage is genuine. You can see it on her face when she's insulted at the thought of being expelled despite being one of the founding members. She's definitely fighting Gantus now.

In this situation yes. As bornvictim and Itadaleon pointed out, he set up the perfect bait for Kalita to bite. He couldn't before, but now that she attacked the gang members, and seem to be in contrast with the leadership, yeah he can. At this point she has NO ally withing the gang, no one will move a finger for her. The gang she loved exist no more, if ever existed at all in the first place. After all given what we saw before, seem that only Kalita nd Debbie truly believed in certain value and in a certain idea of the biker gang, while the other just followed the strongest leader.

Poor Kalita. Things are going to get worse and worse for her, despite how tough and strong she is. But then anyone has hardships no matter how strong they are. Gantus does outrank Kalita, as it is obvious in the next page. Yes, he did fix things up so that she would lose her cool over the gang persecuting the homeless folks that she has a soft heart for, knowing exactly what would happen. Then still in heated anger and retaliation, she beat up her two bike allies and challenged Gantus' authority, much to the shock of everybody. Because they respect Gantus' power, they might not be very willing to support Kalita as they might in the past. As you had said, she is again being similar to Muko that they both got their emotions go over themselves and go deep and deeper into terrible situations created by bad people.

I could not help but notice that her situation is somewhat similar to Adelgund, a once-great woman with honor who fell into her darkest hour with someone close to her turn against her, then things spiraled out of control that made Adel hurt that someone and in the turn the combagal fans turned against her as well (with Muko and the Executie assistants being her only remaining supporters.)
