100 POINTS TO VICTORY!!!

The Painting Challenge where Pflarrian and I used paint at least 100 points worth of minis every month, until this stupid virus thing sapped me of motivation and made Pflarr work more than before :P

I continue to (very) slowly catch up. This started out as a simple test, but I decided to finish it properly. A couple of weeks ago when I was ordering some heads for another army of mine I also ordered a chameleon paint. You know, the kind of paint that changes color depending in the angle you're viewing it from. The one I got is goes from dark blue to purple. I could never find a good model to test it on. Then came the first preview pictures of the Void Dragon C'tan Shard, and I knew I was going to have to get that miniature. And at one point I realized that these chameleon paints look great on a C'tan shard. And then I remembered I had a Nightbringer shard. I never liked the two old C'tan minis and I never plan to actually use this (I got it along with an entire Necron army from a friend), so it would make the perfect test-mini. And here it is.

Unfortunately the color shifting effect doesn't really come across well in pictures (and I still don't have a setup for taking pictures in the first place).
