dang it, now I'm jealous of your guitar work too. I really want to capture that separated chord sound, but mine always sounds so messy. Good support as your pitch rises. Never back off as you get higher. You floated your head-voice well in the background as well.

Thanks Pepper :) This is one of the few times where I recorded the guitar and vocals separately for something quite quickly recorded. I am not sure what you mean about the chord speration, I guess you mean that it's very clearly changed between chords or something? I'm a bit tired so I am not really on the ball today :p Thank you X3 I decided to keep it all quite simple and laid off the harmonies much to my dismay lol X3 I do love me some harmonies. XD

by chord separation, I mean instead of strumming the whole chord at once, like all 6 strings, you pluck individual strings or pairs of strings, playing only sections of the chord at at time, making it sound more interesting. I'm not sure what the actual term would be, but I want to do it.

Oh finger picking ^_^ it's just called picking. You can do it with or without a plectrum, I never use plectrums as I have never got the hang of it :x

Haven't heard the original on this one, but you sing well.
There seems to be a bit feedback fuzz at the start of the song (and in some of your others), though it's not noticable once you start singing and playing, so no worries really.
Very 'clean' voice as well, holding out tones and enunciating well. The guitar is perhaps a smidgen too low. Nothing wrong with the chords and such, but the sound of it might harmonize with your voice better if it's a little louder.
Granted, I don't know how it looks on the recording. Might be just my headphones. ;)

Added to my music library as usual, in case my ramblings ade you think I didn't like it. ^_^

The reason there's Background noise is my guitar work is recorded with a mic, and not plugged into my soundcard by a cable, which is the ideal way of getting rid of the fuzziness. Sometimes, the mic seems to do a better job of ignoring bg noise but sometimes it doesn't. Lately I have had to experiment by surrounding the mic in clothing and such to sound proof the fuzz X3 My pc like many others has a hum when it's on, which is picked up as well. There isn't much I can do about it until I buy more equipment, this mic isn't expensive but does the job well enough for me right now X3

As for the guitar volume, perhaps you're right. I know my vocals get a bit loud in places on this one so I am sure with some levelling out it will sound a bit better, jsut I don't know how it all works on a technical front X3!

Honestly I cannot express how impressed I was by this! Your range is so amazing, and the fact your still able to sound confident even on the very high notes!

But thank you very much, I am still not as stable as you when I sing the high notes. I know this ones a bit shakey in places. I tend to overstress myself when i record things and sometimes I try to jsut go with the flow, this is one of those times x_x!

No bloody idea, I just know when singing a high or low note and my voice cuts out, or goes stupidly flat, i've reached the limits of my range haha.
Ermmmmm I think you are more stable with higher notes than me! I tried singing along to this and I sound like a pig being suffocated :P Its too much smoking, its completely killed my ability to reach high notes xP
