These two are always so cute together. It's nice to know that they can have a moment of peace just to sit and talk and, maybe, pretend things are almost normal for a fleeting moment. Well, as normal as can be, I suppose. I'm sure Sierra's dad would be happy to know that the jacket is doing its job in protecting her, too. Not to mention her skill with a gun.
I know that a lot of their planned interactions really just kind of developed organically after I started playing with them, the more I refined the mythology the more it seemed like it was just fate or something. A lot of both of their backstories was not really solid in the first versions but it has informed a lot of the tweaks since.
I had an idea that I might employ for the particular project with Sierra's dad's journal being the intro to every chapter, we'll see how it goes.
I imagine her dad taught her a lot of things about shooting, one of those side effects of being a single father in the military.
