Yea, I've found internet dating is just a TERRIBLE idea...but I first started talking to Ren online, but I found him through an ex and I knew he lived very close...so I think it might be a good idea to find someone who lives near you and start talking to them online first, then you can find out stuff about them and you have the block button right there if you don't like them ^^
