This is just something I'm working on to help me figure out the foam pattern for the actual head.

I'm really obsessive about getting things planned out before working on the real thing, so I figured this'd be the best way to go. I'm gonna use paper to piece a pattern together on the clay model, and then scale it up for the foam.

I'm still finalizing this a little bit, and I'm still not sure how I want the head to sit on the shoulders. I was originally gonna make it more like the first pic, straight on, but the pentagonal shape that I like is emphasized more when the head is tilted down slightly. Halp?
