Aka and Apa are twins not just from the same clutch but from the same egg.Not too keen on the more....wild life of the jungles as their siblings do they spend their time acting as guides for naturalists or assisting communities with trade.
Fathered by a Cobra and raised by an Anaconda they and their siblings grew up in a crumbling temple their mother was meant to guard, a trove of cursed gold meant to lure conquistadors to their death. Their father a Naga hired by British expedition to try and woo the large carnivorous snakes in the area into compliance. It seems to have worked in some respect as at least one clutch of hybrids exist but the explorers were never heard from again.
You could say the pair was joined at the hip if either possessed one having spent decades as a close team well practiced in speaking as one finishing each others sentences. An agreeable duo in most cases neither hostile or overly friendly to newcomers in their territory and less than receptive of anyone who tries too hard to win their favor. They are not opposed to taking mates for a season or multiple ones even regardless of species as long as they are sentient. The two can very affectionate and protective towards anyone they let close to them neither cold nor unfeeling as some assume as reptiles.Generally easy going but can be competitive in challenges especially if it caters to their predatory side.
They dont see a reason to prey on intelligent creatures livestock especially goats making up a good amount of their diet. That hasn't stopped a few from taking a trip into their coils for study, recreation in the rare case angering them, in all but the latter they are coughed up unharmed. The pair may not totally get why some would find the idea of stewing in their stomach enticing but are not one to turn down internal rubs and filling if temporary meal.
The twins refuse to say just how old they are but Aka will say he is first to hatch,at least when it comes to the two. While possessing fangs they lack the venom glands of their paternal line but have more than enough muscle in their coils to constrict prey. While their parents have never been identified they have far outgrown either species and most other great serpents as well Apa weighing 12785lbs and Aka 12236lb.
Really excited for these two and really thankful to https://twitter.com/QT_Arts for the great work they did.
