At the beginning of our concept art class we made a series of concepts where we had to do the majority of the painting during the lesson (around 2 hours) and then at home put another hour, not longer in to finish it.
The motive in all of these is slavic mythology.
We were given prompts for each painting at the beginning of the class, so there was no planning before. This was interior - I'm happy we had to do it as I'm not too good at drawing interiors so it was a great exercise. I wanted to focus on colours and the objects to show what kind of person could live in there. Not gonna lie, some things I just straight up ripped off from my grandmas houses.
