Old school AD&D had rival adventurers as wandering monsters, and I always imagined the other adventurers as being unusually nasty customers.
So here's a group of those guys.
The crystal skull focuses offensive spells, and the only way the wizard type can comfortably carry the thing is that usually it's stowed in the bag of holding. Or at least that's what I was thinking.
