Yeah, I think I read about it ages ago, and recently came across it when listening to videos about Missing 411 on Youtube. Something about the Vietnamese armed forces witnessing a hulking, humanoid figure in a jungle during a skirmish with the American troops and causing a halt in the fight. And after the American troops returned to the site, all they found was corpses, mauled to death.
