A new artist, but same idea, because I'm me, and a character I'm sure you're all familiar with by now, the lovely Zecora. This piece was brought to us by
who did a very interesting job. Got more than a few Macro pics from him I'll be posting over the next few days, with this first outing being quite the looker, as Zecora lounges outside a small town compared to which she is most definitely not a small zebra.
Zecora had been many places in her life. Temples and villages, small towns and castles, but wandering the woods she called home today, she'd found a path she'd never seen before, and the air suddenly got thinner as she crossed a kind of boundary, a puff of fog getting into her face, that she waved away, as she looked around herself and saw the woods behind giving way to small rolling hills, barely piles of dirt, and yet, covered in a fine, tiny, green grass. Walking farther, she had to duck out of the way of a few strange, rigid winged insects, trying her best not to disturb them, even as they dodged around her, before she came to the sight of what she thought at first was a toy town of sorts, like those the shops of Ponyville would display during certain holidays.
But this was no mere toy, she quickly gleamed, as the people in it, tiny things she could barely see, came out to gawk at her, pointing with their tiny hands, and making her smile down at them unsure of what to do now. This was most certainly a unique find, and she pulled from her pack a small wrapped sandwich, a snack she'd prepared, before settling down against one of the mounds, and placing the pack behind her, as she ate and watched the little ones, as they milled about, going from obviously panicked, to confused, and then to interested, with her making no moves, merely taking large bites from her lunch, while observing them, in the same way they did her, after all, that was the best way to learn, was it not?
