Actually, the character in this piece is the only thing from Redwall. He's one of the antagonists from the book Mattimeo. He has no backstory and many find him unlikable. Also consider the name of this world to figure out his fate at the end of the book. XD
I would like to give him a backstory at some point, that potentially explains why he became such a bad rat in the Redwall world. This Afterlife journey is meant to be his redemption arc.

I see. It's interesting that you decide to give a backstory to an existing character from a book, and even moreso that he doesn't have a backstory in the book haha And yeah I quickly understood what it meant for him, don't worry xD
