Amanda whispers the word to herself as her high heel steps on her carriage. It's the word she remembers quite well from her father, Duke Arranoc, the high councilor. It was instilled to her from the moment he decided her as an heir as he bestowed her the knowledge of his conquering through out his life. Both the front desk works and routines every honest noblemen do, but more so of the things hidden behind the surface. Deception, black-mailing, shady deals. And as her little self grow into a fine woman, her mind also grow more devious and cunning, just as her sire wants her. And that's when she is introduced into the world of the noblemen, lord, and aristocrats, filled with deception and guilles, as her father's personal secretary.

This is again another time when her father entrusted her with another business to deal with. Another persistence lord who has been resisting his bidding for a while. This arrangement is not really a challenge to Amanda though. And she's sure to make this "agreement" ends in Arranoc family's favors. One way, or another.
