Ohmann. Poor Icykat, I put her through a lot with my expressive pictures.
..I've been on a Gorillaz high for the past few months, and in turn listening to their music has given me tons of creativity and inspiration to draw('O green world' is a title to one of their songs). So, thanks, guys. xD
This is a WIP. Lots going on in the picture, it's up to you guys to interperet what the image means, or what it feels like to you individually.
I am going to colour this in only a few tones (Maybe two-toned?) in greens/grays and blacks, and it's going to be done fully in marker, which is out of my comfort zone, but I feel that the picture would look best this way. The volcano in the bg will be spewing smoke in the finished image.
Please offer me comments, questions, critique, or anything else you feel. I truly appreciate comments over favourites anyday. Thank you all! :3 <3

this is really awesome so far. the hand / branches / claws look wonderful, i especially love how her left hand is positioned. The anatomy is excellent, i really love all the detailing in it so far. her expression is so great! i think this is gonna be rad when it's done :D

I've really been pressing myself, because I normally don't draw anthros, and I tell myself i'm even worse at hands, so I forced myself to come up with this before my classes, and without reference too. I'm just glad it looks convincing.
I'm thinking about having her breathe out some of the smoke from the volcano, but maybe in a different shade/colour. what do you think? Would that be too overpowering with everything else going on int the image? ^^
