It was a relatively normal week- visiting Crystal Ball every once and a while and helping out at the studio here and there- You weren't getting paid, but it was a good time, and it was helping with your stress bigtime- and you didn't like to admit it, but you had a little bit of a crush on Crystal Ball. Driving past, you noticed the studio and decided to pop in for a random visit. The door's bell jingled and alerted Crystal Ball behind his desk- and he smiled when he saw you walk in.
"Hello!! What's up?" Crystal Ball said. "You got here a little too late for today's session, but-"
"Nah, I'm just here for a visit." You interrupt him. "Maybe help clean up for the day?"
"Whaat! You're too nice." Crystal Ball said. "I actually have someone else helping me with something today."
"Oh cool, what is it?" You say, interested.
"Oh, nothing... just trying out a new type of therapy with someone who seems to be an expert at it," He says. "It was originally just gonna be me and him talking about it, but a third opinion would be cool too!"
"Count me in, I've got nothing going on tonight, haha." You say, and Crystal Ball grabs your hands with his mittens.
"Awesome! He's waiting in the back room, let's go. This is gonna be so much fun!" Crystal Ball says and leads you to one of his meditation rooms. The door creaks open slowly and Crystal Ball greets his friend- You follow in after him and see that there was another object sitting on the floor of the pillowy meditation room. He was a perfume bottle of some kind, with blueish liquid sloshing around inside him with golden glitter suspended in it. He looks sleepy, and his movements are slow- like he just woke up from a nap.
"Hey Moonlight! This is (y/n)," Crystal Ball introduces you.
"Hello, stardust..." Moonlight says, and blinks slowly.
"Hey," You say, "So... What's this new therapy I've been hearing about?"
"Cutting right to the chase, huh?" Crystal ball teased. "Typical."
"What? I'm curious," You say, and sit down next to Moonlight.
Moonlight yawns. "Sleep therapy is usually what I specialize in..." Moonlight said. "But lately I've also been trying... aromatherapy."
"Oh cool," You say. "Makes sense." You eye him up and down.
"Not just the calming properties but also the... trance properties of some scents." Moonlight continued. "I've heard a certain cocktail of smells can almost hypnotize someone..."
"O-Oh?" You say, "I haven't heard of that."
"I'd like to try it out on someone, and Crystal Ball is the only other person who I've taught about it..." Moonlight said. "So I was kind of hoping he'd bring a friend along."
"So... What do ya say?" Crystal Ball says, scooting a little bit closer until you're almost trapped between the two objects, who normally towered over you by a considerable amount. Sitting down, you still seemed small compared to them.
"Sure! I wanna see what you two have up your sleeves!" You say cheerily, and Moonlight smiles.
Moonlight pulls something out from behind his back- A purple vial that seems small in his mittens, but is actually around the size of a water bottle. It has a crescent moon cork, similar to the cap on top of Moonlight's head.
"Here's a scent blend I've been working on. Super relaxing..." He says, and takes the cork off, swaying the bottle from side to side once and breathing in the scent. You catch a whiff of it too- It smells like roses and dark incense, and smelling it almost feels like splashing warm water on your face. The tension in your temples and shoulders seems to melt away almost instantly.
Moonlight puts a little bit onto his fingers and scoots a bit closer to Crystal Ball, Until you're completely trapped inbetween these two objects. He takes his hands and gently starts to work the perfume into Crystal Ball's paw, who sighs and visibly relaxes. A foot rub?
You aren't sure what to say, but the scent of the aromatherapy hits your nose and you lose the need to say anything. You're hit with a wave of pleasant sleepy dizziness, and your head wobbles a little bit- it suddenly feels a lot heavier. You smile goofily. The smell isn't sharp whatsoever- but it's all you can focus on as you breathe it in, relaxation coming in wave after wave after pulsing wave, almost forceful. You watch as they dizzily massage the perfume into each other's soft soles, the scent overtaking your brain and putting you in a deep trance as all you can focus on is the sweet tactile sensation of the pillows and blankets under you, the soft light of the candles, and the two objects that are now rubbing their flowery scented feet all over you while you lay down in a dizzy, happy trance.
You're unplugged, blank, empty except for soft physical sensations- the sweet hypnotizing smell is the only thing you need. It's almost like deep sleep- but you know you're erupting into feverish hiccupy giggles while your two friends pin you underneath their gentle, silky therapeutic paws. You feel the sensation of sinking deeper... deeper... deeper into trance, impossibly deep... this is the most relaxed and overall best you've probably ever felt. Once you wake up from this trance (which you honestly hoped would never happen)... You oughta remember to tell Crystal Ball and Moonlight how much you love being hypnotized by their sweet aroma. All your troubles are melting away, one after another, as Crystal Ball and Moonlight gently tap on your face with their soft heavy paws. Thump thump thump... the sound continues even after they stop. Far away, muffled, enchanted...
Next thing you know, you're happy, thankful and out the door with a complimentary scented candle and Moonlight's phone number. It's all a blur... A really happy blur.

heyo!! decided to write something with two of my ocs together- i figured Crystal Ball and Moonlight make a good tag team. Hope you enjoy! This is my second attempt at writing hypnotism, and it kind of goes hand in hand with the Crystal Ball hypnotherapy story and is actually unintentionally pretty similar XD so if you like this one, make sure you check out my other one too! :D
