Training the Trainer - Mewtwo's Old Friend #64
After Mewtwo and Lugia were released from the Master Ball at the Pokemon Center, Mewtwo was...less than enthralled with the situation, to say the least. The first growls and snarls could loosely be interpreted as "Give me one good reason I shouldn't Psychic you to kingdom come." However, after a quick scan of the skunk-bunny's mind, Mewtwo realized that having Forces as a trainer was not the worst thing that could happen. Forces meant neither him nor Lugia any harm...and seeing something else Forces has experienced in the past (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2126314/) was the final nudge Mewtwo needed to consent to being part of his team.
...but that didn't mean that Mewtwo wouldn't be doing some "training" of his own - Lugia is currently awaiting his turn to let the hybrid experience another legendary Pokemon belly - an amicable agreement for Mewtwo, Lugia, and Forces. Will Forces have Mewtwo and Lugia devouring other Pokemon in the future? Only time will tell.

forceswerwolf for discussing the comic with me in advance and allowing me to make an official, canon add-on to his story, and Lyso for agreeing to take on this continuation commission. As many of you that know me know, I'm a bit...odd as to how I see Mewtwo on FA. I loved the series as a whole; Mewtwo was one of the most dominant and powerful prey I've ever seen. I just wanted to add my own little tweak so Mewtwo didn't appear as a pushover at the end. Somehow, it got in my head that with an epic-level artist like Forces doing a series with Mewtwo as prey would encourage others to put Mewtwo in unwilling situations, and this was my way of putting Mewtwo back on top, in my mind. I would again like to thank Forces for accomodating my crazy ass on this.
Anyway, enjoy what will undoubtedly become many vorish nights in Mewtwo's, Lugia's, and Forces's future!

Then the vast majority of my goal has been met.
My only other desires - make sure everyone that saw the original sees this; Forces is pretty much doing that and I'm very grateful; he went above and beyond what I ever would have expected. He could have very well said "screw you, you want to change my art" or a multitude of other things. If I can get everyone who faved the original to fave this, it means I have 100% succeeded here.
Forces' series took the idea of Mewtwo being prey and made it the most respectful depiction of that species as prey that I have ever seen. This was just my little tweak to the end. I'm glad you're happy with it, I'm glad he's happy with it, and I hope everyone else is as well!

I agree with you fully. Having Mewtwo as a submissive would not sit right with anyone, but the way that Forces portrayed him, both WANTING to be eaten, and being in complete control mean he's unique. adding the trainer was unexpected, and humorous. It's only natural for the character that you and Forces created to assert himself over the trainer. With any pokemon that is so self assured they would be difficult to handle. The solution you presented (This image) Makes for fun viewing, and fits the personality of all parties involved. It really opens the way to more stories and comics, by putting the unspoken agreement between the trainer and Mewtwo.
