I played Undertale for the first time in 2018, while I was in tech school to learn my job. Like most people, I was immediately sucked in after. I laughed, I cried, and I had an adventure. Afterwards I couldn't help but be really into it, playing songs from it all the time. I think I annoyed my roommate, haha. Ever since, my favorite character was always Asriel Dreemurr. I always felt sad that his ending was such a tragic thing. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but at some point I found myself wanting to be Asriel. I especially found myself inspired by Growth Spurt, and robertge 's Asriel. So I commed Jason for one off Asriel pic of me as the good goat, just to get it off my chest. Then I got a second pic, cuz that would be fine. And another...and another...and whoops, look where I ended up.
Can't say I regretted it. I've made so many friends because I went on that Asibow path. I've shared passions, I've made friends, I comforted others, and so much more. I still feel embarrassed of how close I feel to Asriel sometimes, with how I got emotional when voicing him during a playthrough of Undertale, but I really appreciate everyone I've met and have supported me. Here's to hoping we all continue to grow and make friends.

Asriel is my favorite as well, Toriel is my 2nd fave, I've been playing undertale since senior year (class of 2019). Plus I like that your fursona reminds me of him, but as a cuddle monster that deserves all the cuddles I can give. I'm glad I follow you and browse your artwork. maybe in the future, we might become friends at some point. But rn, I'm going through a tough time and hopefully it ends soon.
I can relate with this. I had the chance to finally play it on this 2024 (yeah, i know, i'm really late, but it's better late than ever), and i felt exactly what you said in the first three lines of your description. I made two runs (neutral and pacifist) and i could say that was a great experience! When i work in a new pic, i should try to find a mix with Undertale music!!! :D Also, i made some Undertale related drawings! :)
