Part of a draw your OC in this outfit I saw online, I really liked how it turned out, still learning to draw digitally, trying different styles: this "woolly" style took me many hours to complete, I'm not sure the results were the expected, but very much welcomed!
Lithybelle 2.0 is a synth of the 4th generation. These synths are not very easy to clock, but able to tell once up close. Due to the uncanny similitude to organic beings, the 4th generation of synthetic bodies have a mandatory "gem on their foreheads where most of their visual sensors recede. Their apparent eyes have to give off an artificial warning also, for that it's used opaque LCDs or a shutter-like aperture, very oldschool stuff, although it's not very aesthetic anymore.
Leith age 16 was put in a synth body after having a gruesome car accident. Usually the medics would have attempt to recover what was left of the cervine, or let him die in the process, but being a perfect candidate to test the beta body of the 4th gen synth manufactured by GUTZ prosthetics, Leith was brought back to life at a cost.
The once deer boy had now to be tested in a lab for months and learn to live with a synthetic body for the rest of his days, scarring him for life. So, after his time in the labs was over and he was put in high school to continue his studies, living a normal life, hopefully. He did great, taking his classes head on and even met a boy who would eventually grow to be his mate.
However. Not long had passed when after attempting to hack into his very own operative system (or after an emergency backup went wrong during an update) that something corrupted in his hard drive, damaging one of the many data banks in it, causing a breach in the system. The artificial intelligence that aided his original brain to function normally tried to patch the error, creating a split personality disorder. Calling herself Isabelle.
Leith and Isabelle were prisoners of the other inside a plastic body. They were very unstable and would take over the other at a moment's notice and without their consent, both saw it like a torture.
When they decided to get help at the lab, the engineers managed to salvage most of the lost memories and files and merged both personalities together into Lithybelle, giving them bright new body to match their new self.
Everything seemed quite resolved for now, but there's an unsettling detail that keeps Lithybelle up at night. Where did Isabelle's memories and personality came from? Both living in peace now, some memories and recollections don't match what they've lived. So they're left to wonder what else is made up, what else could happen in this faulty build?
