The first words to pop into my head (and out of my mouth coincidentily) were, "this is slick." With such a long tail I have no idea as to species (though I suspect she'd not based too closely to a real one) other than having canine influences. My next thought was that this would be a kick-ass character in D&D.
The look of, shall we say, "serene insanity" looks mighty fitting. You did an amazing job on the fire effects and the lighting. I'm also impressed with the background, as it really emphasises the nocturnal element of the piece and give it a sense of place with shapes alone. Perhaps a little ironically, it's simplicity actually makes it one of the more impressive and interesting backgrounds I've seen in a while, especially with your use of both background and foreground elements with the composition.

She does have a lovely design, props to Miasarah on that one... I'm pretty sure she's a hybrid rather than any particular breed (and this deviates from her normal design a bit, as her tail usually is more full). c:

That's beautiful. cB The character design is really amazing. And the look on her face!! Pff <3 Skimmimg comments, I saw someone say she easily expresses 'serene insanity', and I totally agree. It makes her look really badass.
