My first try at capturing a fursona~
It's been forever since I've drawn a canine, but it was the first thing I really learned how to draw and got into the anatomy of, so it feels so natural coming back into it. I'm excited to draw other anthro species, though :3
I like the idea of having multiple dog tags on a collar that serve the same function as earrings and can be switched out depending on your mood; especially if they're pride related :P Caleb also loves sitting/moving around like a cat, though his personality is *very* dog-like.
Caleb isn't a name I fully identify with, but it definitely fits this character. Is he my fursona? maybe, maybe not. That's yet to be fully explored. All his identifying dog tags are my own labels, too, though (poly, trans, bi). The yellow-ish tint of his tan fur and especially the way it's patterned on his hands makes me feel a little Asian pride, too :) The only difference is he isn't also nonbinary.
I was a little conflicted with which poly flag to use, but given I'm more familiar with the original pi one (and I like the bold colors, even if they're a little... much), I went with that. I'm tempted to design my own poly flag, since the latest green and blue pastel-ish one feels a little too... innocent for my tastes ;) What do you think about the poly flags?
