IT COULD SOUND WEIRD
But from our experience, men (even our friends) wear white (or any other new socks) to appear neat :'D
However, if he didn’t care or he didn’t try to make a certain impression, then his socks would probably have been old, lost their shade and possibly with holes (well, or those that first came to hand....)
A complicated relationship with socks.
But of course it doesn't apply to all man ahaha

eh... i am sorry for your loss... i hope you were working somewhere like dropbox or google drive that autobackups your last saved file so you can recover that...
... that said ... yeah ... i often feel like i am one of the few people inside this place who is not constantly discussing of the shape of the genitalia or how important it is to have 2 triangles under the eyes as opposed to one ... but more about "how the anatomy works" in my characters.
In this case: Vasili looks like somebody who is just working in a rather messy place with his half gym suit half t-shirt. Or. Somebody dressed in an elegant way with his grey suit.
Except: both his belt and ankle are showing so the suit either is not his or... he bought it cheap... given the white socks... yeah. That confirmed he bought it cheap. Which suits him.
So it worked for me and i okayed it.
