You do character designs? How much do they usually cost?

Yes I do character designs.

The cost is a bit on a sliding scale. It usually depends on how complex the character is, coupled with how much of a description I'm given. If there's a clear description and idea for what the commissioner wants from the character (and I can properly visualize it), I can quote a price through that. Though it's a bit costlier than a regular commission due to having to translate the text into an artwork, and that takes more time.

On the flip side, if the commissioner isn't sure what they desire, then I do pay by the hour whilst I work with the commissioner and do drafts and whatnot.

So pretty much it depends what's looked for and how much of an idea for what the commissioner wants. I know that doesn't clearly answer the price question, but I'm always open to notes of those sorts of subjects.

Gotcha~ I'll keep that in mind. I'm always looking out for artist willing to do character design. ( I have an idea of what I want, but not sure on the differences. It's a species based off an open species).
