Asriel's College Experimentation (Deltarune)
Asriel returns home from college with a new... and yet familiar look.
Embracing his love for music, and having a chance to get out from under his religious mother's thumb (because DT Toriel is implied to be very religious and Asriel has a ton of CDs in his room) he has created a heavymetal persona, that he has dubbed... "The God of Hyper Death Metal"
Toriel is not pleased.
I was just trying to figure out an excuse for why HyperDeath Asriel would exist in Deltarune's universe where he's an actual adult. Now I have no personal problem with using HD Asriel as is, and I don't think theres anything wrong with aging up characters as long as you put in the WORK to make it clear. Plus he's kind of an adult anyway given his lifetimes as Flowey, in Undertale, but I know people do have problems with it, so in order to make it okay for everyone, I'm using college DT Asriel.

He's built like a young Henry Rollins! Aesthetic is very Dethklok, so he's also maybe somewhat comparable to a 20-something Nathan Explosion. Speaking of Dethklok, Ralsei (who has kind of a Swisgaar look but more punk) would totally get along with Toki! >///w///< Susie with Murderface. };3
Edit/Note: In my headcanon, Susie prefers thrash metal to Deth metal. She likes that early '90s Pantera sound. Also in my headcanon, Ralsei likes upbeat '80s-style New Wave stuff, cries with compassion whenever he hears 'Genocide' by The Offsping, nods in agreement with Billy Idol's early '90s 'Cyberpunk' songs, and kinda digs Billy Idol's '80s-era aesthetic.

Addendo0m: Dave Mustaine and Brian Welch are both Christians. Gotta wonder what sorts of discussions Azzy and Tori would have regarding that sort of thing. Tori isn't averse to a good boogie-go-nuts session, so her concern would probably be the moral ethos expressed in a motif. Metal projects an ethos of power which is a double-edged sword.
