Ah. I knew you had -some- kind of experience with college textbooks. It's gotten worse. These days they cost just as much, they're virtual, and you don't get to keep them.

I'm pretty sure I invented new cusswords the first time I ran across this phenomenon.

colleges are designed to make money - they are businesses... if they had any real competition they would quickly go out of business. I think the 'virtual' colleges springing up are going to give them a real run for their money, mostly because there is no overhead.

Nah, this is actual brick-and-mortar colleges. The books are virtual, but the classes weren't before January messed them up.

For some reason, I don't know what it was. But I ended up imagining everyone with British accents, which led to the punks at the end sounding like London chavs, it was interesting.

That being said, this was one of the more wholesome stories I've read in awhile (even if I winced a little at the accidental split and ensuing groin abuse. *chuckles*)
