After a night in the same bed as Karen, Madelyn is feeling...something. She can't quite name it, but she can't deny that she loves being around Karen. As the day goes on, Maddie has to come to some realizations, but the world doesn't freeze because of young something.

Author's Note: HUGE and IMMEDIATE shoutout to Furnarchocraft, Furnarcho, or nowadays Furn for writing the original And You and I and letting me spin it off into it's own thing. The original is much shorter (somewhere around 600 words, I believe), but it's much more poetic and the shortness works to it's advantage. If you want to give it a look, here it is!

Secondary shoutout to Mandag! I don't know how to link profiles, but check out their work, it's Q U A L I T Y. Beyond quality though, this is kind of a sequel to their story Madelyn's Nightmare, so they were also a huge inspiration to what I wanted to convey with this story and how I wanted to convey it. They also offered to read over it for me, but I'm a gigantic coward and never worked up the courage to ask them to.

This is my longest work ever at somewhere around 4k words, and I put likely 10 - 15 hours into it, which is more than I put into most college finals. I'm really proud of what I've made here, even if it's not much compared to the works of some of the other authors out there, I think it's a healthy pushing of my comfort zone and that I wrote it all out really well. I'm trying to let myself be proud of what I make, so forgive the indulgence.

TLDR: I really hope you enjoy this, pretty sure it's the thing I'm most proud of, and if you have any thoughts at all please put them in the comments because I need to be told what I'm bad at!
