And in this moment, even Kalita realized how far the gap of power and skills between her and Gantus actually was. And that if he had played seriously he would have maimed her or worst.(also even if Debbie was not pregnant and willing to get back they would have stand not a chance....make one wonder why Gantus played so "nice" so far when he could have took the gang simply by strength alone.)

My guess would be he played nice to make the 'takeover' look better. If he'd just suddenly rocked up and taken over by brute force, there'd be an element of fear/distrust/resentment undermining his power base. By taking his time and appearing to naturally rise to the top, the others don't question it half as much - it's not "he attacked our beloved leaders" but rather "it just happened that way, that's how it is."

Even now, he's not beating the ever-loving crap out of Kalita, but giving her a chance to back down and be subservient while still demonstrating his power - the message being that you can't beat him, he's clearly the rightful boss here, but he's willing to offer mercy. He's got all the 'hard power' he needs, and he's wielding soft power too

Hmhmh confirming that Gantus is much more smarter than he appear. Seem that all is going according to the plan. And it make sense in that he lured Kalita into attacking him and the gang. He is so far one of te most scary villain of FFC(plus i still suspect he is allied with Shun.)

Quite epic! Gantus' loud barking was powerful enough to literally knock Kalita off her feet and slammed her into the ground. Never had I seen Kalita that shaken up and scared of anything before.

A sonic bark! Now Gantus joins Kalita and Nyarai in having an elemental attack. In this case, he uses the sound of his bark to knock back his victims. And man, his technique has greater reach compared to Kalita or even Nyarai. Makes one think where Gantus learned how to fight.

FFC universe is still filled with misteries. (and i wanna know because so we can convert it into an RPG setting! and of course I wanna see where the story goes)

Yeah, the more I read this comic, and the more I think about it, there is more going on here with these characters then just sexy female girl wrestling, bikers and all. It does seem that somehow the stronger, more better at fighting characters somehow along the way get in touch with some sort of element power that makes them seem super-powered, like something out of anime/manga. Kalita is associated with lightning, Nyarai has fire, Gantus can make sonic noise. Also, I think perhaps Peki may count since she was able to move around crazy fast enough to overcome Adelgund at one point, despite being shorter than Adel, and was very strong too. I do wonder what is going on and how these such flesh and blood characters get these powers?

By the way...i think that Dai is subtly suggesting that for Muko the key element is water(look how many times when Muko is involved water tend to come in play and how she blobbify herself)..lighting storm(kalita) and maelstrom of water(Muko)...team tsunami? Team Hurricane?
