Amy knows she has to react fast! Before Blaze even realizes what appeared in front of her eyes, the hedgehog girl already pushed herself half through the portal and pulled Blaze's paws away. Bubbles stream from her mouth as she looks shocked but Amy tilts her head and presses her lips onto Blaze's.
It is tough and risky to exhale air while away from any airsource but Amy manages to do it for her teammate. Warm, slightly stale but yet oxygenated air fills Blaze's cheeks and she quickly takes it in, thankful.
Seeing Blaze calm slightly, Amy quickly lets go, letting the cat girl focus on her breathhold while she tries to free her.

Amy's chest is sucked-in by that point and it worsens when more bubbles escape because she strains herself to lift the rocks off her teammate. Eventually Blaze can wriggle herself free and dashes through the portal alongside the hedgehog.

Urgently and with puffy cheeks they head back to the submarine, knowing that is their only chance. Blaze's urge to breathe is bad already again but she can see that Amy has it much worse. She knows that she would have drowned without Amy's help and so she quickly tugs her close, giving her a confident look into the yes before she joins her lips with hers now.
Together they keep breathing the same air back and forth to make best possible urge of it. It soon becomes entirely stale and their cheeks turn purple from oxygen deprivation but at least they can keep kicking just a little longer...
