Ever since I wrote Malekai's biography and other commissioned works, I have given hints of what Malekai truly is. To those who were paying attention, which I presume are very few, then this image and his otherworldly abilities will not surprise you.

Yes! Magic exists in my universe, and Malekai is a sorcerer of dark magic.

To recap: There is a triad of pantheons. The Pantheon of Light, the Grey Pantheon and the Dark Pantheon. The Grey Pantheon consist of the elder deities who are said to have created the world. They are beings who are balanced in their morality, capable of acts of benevolence just as they are capable of malevolent actions. The light and dark pantheons are deities who are said to have been once whole beings, but their desire to free themselves of their negative traits resulted in a sundering that split them into separate entities of light and dark.

All three of these pantheons are worshiped throughout the world as a major religion. The Dragons, or Dradarii as they call themselves, were the first to worship said pantheons and thus are generally the leaders of the "Dragon Cults".

Malekai's patron God is called "Mal'Tzanur", the Dark God of Ambition, Lord of all-sorcery and second greatest of the Dark Pantheon. He is the son of Tethramon, the Grey God of all-magic and knowledge and brother of Leith'rael, the Goddess of light-magic.
