I've set up a Private Discord!
Basically, the idea I had was to have a discord server that acted similar to the likes of a private Patreon server, but without the monthly fees of Patreon.. I don't like the idea of setting up a Patreon and then asking people to pay a certain amount a month/upload because I know financial situations can change quickly.. especially in this current climate.
It's a one time purchase to gain permanent access to the server and with it you can gain a number of benefits;
For example,
-I personally stream on discord to my friends just, be that either art or sometimes playing games, which I thought could be cool to do with people who are more art inclined etc. So since I don't stream on picarto anymore and I have never streamed on twitch... I thought this could be a simple casual way of doing streams~
There is also space for other people to stream~ be that art or games etc. whatever they feel like.
- A channel for posting character refs with the chance of free art when I want to practice something, or have examples for things.
- A suggestion box for if you have an idea that could be fun or cool for the server itself to make it better and more interactive, or just as an art idea or fanart suggestion etc.
- Announcements of when I'll be streaming, or when commissions open etc. People in the server will get first dibs on anything that will be coming out - be that commission openings or new bases etc.
I would love to just have a place that people can come and have a chilled out time, chat to people, make friends, while also allowing people to help support me with art etc. I want this to grow ~ I'd love to have a little community of my own that we can all be a part of.
As things grow and needs change, the server will be modified as necessary, but it is super simple for now as it's just started!
The entry cost is just $5.
