
Another talented anthroartist I'd first became acquainted with through the 'funny animal' APAzine "Rowrbrazzle" was
SySable (a.k.a. Mark Merlino). I was enamored by his drawings of 'skiltaires' - the mystical otter-like critters of his own creation - in several back issues of "'Brazzle".
So, when I had the opportunity of meeting Sy at "PhilCon" in Philadelphia, PA (Circa 1993), he graciously drew one of his 'skiltaires' - in a diving pose - in my big black sketchbook. (It looks so real, you can almost hear him 'chirp'!)
