F5 FOR FIXES. there was a lot of anatomical weirdness in the original submission, and i'd been meaning to fix it. xD recent art trade made me realize i should PROBABLY do it soon, so people have a more accurate ref in the future.

WELL SINCE EVERYONE'S BEEN DRAWING SPIDERS LATELY, I FIGURED NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO INTRODUCE MOTT.

mott's...not really much of a spider, but he looks enough like one. he's what you'd call a hybrid, i guess. he's the first successful mix between a human and a nendri (~*~alien~*~ race of mine). the nendri are basically a single-gendered race of incestuous bugpeople who inhabit a small moon of a gas giant planet. their culture is VERY complex and involves societal tiers.

mott was created from a modified human sperm and the standard egg of a donor nendri. the donor happened to be of the "high" or "noble" tier. mott would have naturally been a "noble" himself, but...

see, the nendri are practically obsessed with keeping their bloodlines "clean" and thus are forbidden to engage in reproductive sex with anyone outside their immediate family. when a nendri offspring between two non-related parents is born, it's of the "second gender" (remember how i said nendri are single-gendered? yeah, they're basically asexual. i'd consider them hermaphroditic, but their reproductive anatomy is just too different in my opinion).

mott, thus, is "second-gendered" in that he is singly male. he resembles a perfect nendri in most ways, really, aside from that fact. his body markings are also a lot more sporadic than your standard noble, but more on that later.

anyway, because of the nendric obsession with unaltered bloodlines, mott is pretty much an outcast. so he hangs around humans and other non-nendri xenomorphs instead of his own kind.

and he is very friendly. :B
