11:37 AM is what Ellana's watch said as the winded skunk finally made it to the rest stop. Having been hiking for little over 5 hours she plopped her chubby ass down for a much needed break. Her boyfriend Matt handed her a bottle of water from his pack as she wasn't wearing one and said "I'm suprised you made it this far." A panting sarcastic "Hate.... You.... Right now...." was all she could muster. He just chuckled and started stretching to get ready for the next leg of their hike. Ellana just watched the chipmunk's boundless energy in annoyance, her chubby physique wasn't built for this, strike one.
Matt was very sweet and caring but also selfish, insensitive, and too high energy sometimes, and this is one of those times. Once Ellana caught her breath she asked "How much longer till the end." Matt pointed at an old wooden bench and said "Why don't you sit there while I look at the map, its got to be better than the ground." The skunk shook her head and said "Fuck no, that things old, I don't want splinters in my ass." Absentmindedly the chipmunk replied "that's fair, you might have broken it." Strike two, she knew he didn't mean it as an insult but it still pissed her off.
"So when can we eat, its been hours since breakfast." Ellana asked as her belly growled. "It's still in the car, it can be very dangerous to bring that stuff with hungry animals about. We can eat when we get back" Matt said while looking at the map. Strike three, the combination of her anger, hunger, and exhaustion was now at its peek. "Oh I'll show you a hungry dangerous animal" she growled out marching right up to him, Matt had turned around just in time to see his girlfriends gaping maw chomp over his head. The light filtering through her teeth allowed him one one last horrifying sight, her pulsating throat leading to his final destination. All it took was a gulp and he was in at the waist, another and only his toes were on her lips. One final gulp and he was firmly packed in her belly, its round form bulging with his frightened squirming. As her belly growled happily around its unwilling occupant Ellana sat back against a rock and sighed happily.
Poor Matt wasn't the first boyfriend turned meal, and he wouldn't be the last. Ellana decided to wait till Matt was digested so she would only have to carry his pack back to the car. Plus she liked the irony of the chipmunk outdoors-man being "dumped" outdoors. Till then she just watched her ex squirm in her belly, wondering when his boundless energy would finally run out.
