someone on FA liked the original version of this from more than a decade ago, and so i decided to redraw it on a whim to try and gauge whatever improvement I may have made.

Overall anatomy, face structure and clothing folds. Improvements everywhere. The clothing is an unsung part of art but it really does add a lot.
One thing I notice is the shading on her thighs looks good on my older more washed out monitor but if I move it to the newer and nicer screen with better colour the brush strokes stand out way more. The rest of the painting doesn't have that happen.
Doing that a few times really makes this old monitor look bad. Her face is so much more vibrant with better colours and contrast, the blush stands out so much better.

no, but also yes.
at the time i drew this 10+ years ago, I wasn't really all that comfortable or confident in drawing heavier characters - but Sofia was supposed to be pretty soft, even then, like about 85kg or so.
though yes, i've ticked up her weight in the past few years to match how i began to draw her figure; she's supposed to be a tad more than 100kg at this point.
