Change The World 06 - Jiggly Wiggly
We set about on our roster of TFs! Rain gets to be a goopster, and Isaiah becomes a warrior of the wind. Two successes! Sadly, a failed encounter roll, looks like we have wyverns on the horizon. Votes!
* Choose FOUR party members, and pick whether they are FRONT or BACK.
* Wyverns: Reconfigure cannons, Keep Snipers Home, Make it Quick, Ignore, Delay the Raid
* Morph Haters: Earn their humanity, Watch and wait, or Preemptive Morph
The progress on Kuro's TF preparations are complete! They will be done after the raid, or immediately if we delay.
The next flashback will be posted separately. 7 pages is good for now.

Party: Ashanti, Rain, and Wheeler in front; Isaiah and Leroy in back. This way all the Morph Afraids stay at home, and all the happily morphed go. No chance of the two groups interacting unpleasantly, at home or in the raid party.
Wyverns: Make it Quick. I'd prefer to Keep Snipers Home, but with Isaiah being recently morphed and Alabaster being Morph Afraid, having them work together seems risky. The other three options have clear negative consequences that should be avoided if possible.
Morph Haters: Watch and Wait. The other two options will most likely stir up even more resentment in them, and we don't want that. I'd prefer a "Gentle Conversation About the Matter" option, but I assume I've got to work with the options I'm presented with.

Party
Frontline > Ashanti, Rain, and Wheeler.
Back > Isaiah and Sirius
Sending all the morphed away and giving those who are afraid of such things time to themselves is probably the best option for the morale of both. The Captain suggested coming along, and I think we should invest in him, as an advisor, he's familiar with these matters, after all. Rain gets some first-pseudopod experience in working with her new form. Lastly, having a healer along seems like a good plan, in general.
Wyverns > Make it Quick > Loathe as I am to potentially cut our raiding short, out of all the options, this seems the best, to me. Or, at least, the least likely to cause delays and hefty morale damage.
Morph Haters > Watch and Wait > There is no need to antagonise them, as fun as it would be to shift shape them around to our whims. But the moment one of them does something stupid, snap, new ship mascot. (That and, despite how tasty the candy was, how Memphis was dealt with for his phobia leaves a bad taste in my mouth)

Mostly I'm just keeping progress bars under wraps until they're done or something happens. It's why there's no update on Spelunking Gear/Delving Tools/Drugs/Crops this turn; they're not done. It would be pretty cluttered to have a lot of things like "the potatoes are tiny and ungrown. soon!"
Ashanti, Rain and Wheeler in front. Sirius and Leroy in back.
Wyverns > Keep Snipers Home.
Morph Haters > Watch and Wait.
Bring Rain and Wheeler with us to let the Morph Haters take it off their mind for a while. But leave Isaiah with them. He's not the crew's only gryphon, so the morph won't seem exceptionally strange to them, and he serves as a gentle reminder that this can be a positive thing even for purely pragmatic reasons.

Proper Vote Time!
* Party: I'd say Ashanti, Sirius, and Wheeler in the front; and Isaiah and Leroy in the back.
Rain...maybe train later, but this doesn't seem like the best time for a training session because we need SPEED.
* Wyverns: I...guess Make It Quick. I'd personally prefer to Drive Them Off and then Raid, but... apparently that causes morale issues? Assuming that's Delay the Raid.
* Morph Haters: Watch and wait, ideally try and Talk It Out.
Also... what happened to Ocha? I think I might've missed that...
And the heck is Plow Duty?

Oh man, every choice has a compromise. How evil. I'm always one aspect short of my "perfect" setup.
I think I'm going to go for Dealing with the Wyverns by keeping the Snipers home, which makes filling out the back ranks restrictive but is the least bad option. The party shall have Ashanti, Dean, and Wheeler in front, and Sirius and Rain in back. Basically the best I could scrape up without snipers; Sirius in particular at least has a gun and the close range capability could really help Rain if we get back attacked. Sly sounds somehow more psychotic than Dean, and having the captain around with Dean can probably help curb the worst ideas that can happen.
Finally, we're gonna have to Watch and Wait on Sly and Alabaster.
