Ah, now here is both something I'm very proud of...and a bit shamed by. See, about 2 years ago, the user BBBHuey on dA and I did a trade. Nothing complex, just a story for a comic. He came through on his part...and then I had one of my, I stop talking to everyone, periods, and 4 months rolled by. By the time I got back, he said it was fine, and I didn't have to do my part. I always felt awful, but a few asks on things he'd want got no info(He responded, but wouldn't answer the questions, saying it was fine), and we went on with our lives.
Then a few days ago, he contacted me, and asked for something. Not sure what inspired him, but I did it. I think this is a tie in to some of his themes for Voretober this year, which is really cool, as we always has something interesting. That said, I gave some suggestions, mainly the nature of the traps in the temple, and this story was born. It was an interesting piece to write, and I hope you enjoy reading it.
