No. Profiles and Carpe Diem are in the same universe. It's already been established a couple times over in CD

I always like having series have the same universe and the idea of Carpe Diem and Profiles in the same one makes we want to read Carpe Diem. I want to have an idea of whats going on everywhere.

I'm with everyone else that says that both Jodi and Miguel are more than a bit off (although Jodi at least has proven that he cares about Regis for more than just the sex, whereas Miguel got PO'd at Regis for wanting to interrupt a blowjob to help someone who was crying out for help).

Unless there's a lot more to both relationships than is being shown, Regis can do much better, on both counts.
