Another one of my Custom Wooden Railway models is a more well-known engine that isn't from the realm of Thomas.

Casey Jr was a character made BEFORE the railway series was published, and despite that is sort of an underdog to the well-known and popular Thomas. And while other Non-Thomas locomotives like the little engine that could, and even Emma and Molly had toys made of them, Casey Jr had no such luck and was only produced as figurines and other pieces of merchandise. I decided to change that.

I was originally going for the same design as the 2015 models of Mike and Bert, but after realizing how out-of-scale it would look, I decided to go the Stephen route of having the tender and engine on the same chassis. It does look a bit odd, but I like it that way, and it means that Casey Jr is accurately proportioned.

I'm proud of this model.
