You have to understand. She was played. Gantus strategy was brilliant. He obviously planned for this, knowing exactly how she would react and more importantly how she would fight. Motherfucker destroyed her psychologically more than physically.
Proof is that he adopted very showoff but non lethal tecniques that required lot of timing and energy( it was a gamble few seconds and Kalita punches would have impacted) why because alresdy after he"parried" the first attack Kalita resolve was broken, the his verbal attack further demolished her to this point where mentally she is back to being the scared runaeay orphan of her childhood.

Still lost respect in my book. A real biker, captain, what so ever wouldnt mind that throwback, but even make him more furious.

Sigh...try to understadnthe psychological mindset of kalita. And contextualize within the bosozoku biker gang that is the RK. S is gang formed by tebelious thugghish youngster, we can assume when Kalita, Debbie and Leyline were all 15, is not the same as the near gangsters biker gangs of the west(who too had similar origin in remote past) . Kalita is young, and while more experienced than Muko in the harsh aspect of life, she still lack some experience. And here come Gantus. He destoryed her psychologically, putting doubt in her mind causin herself to self question her own identity. "Am i a bully?" Is pobsbly buzzing around her mind, weakening her will to fight. And consider that not only Gantus nullified her full power attack when Kalita, even more furious, tried to attack again, he kncked her out just...barking..She simply has no other arrow at her disposal. She has no will to fight, no support from anyone, nor she could command any respect or fear from her former fellow bikers, no other technique she could think and her instinct just yell "run!" She just...lost pretty much everything(and i highlight that what hurt most was the betrayal of Leyline and the lingering doubt that gantus was right). So yes she run away, what else she could d? Getting beaten to death by gantus and/or perhaps her ex friends?

She could have attacked the right target.
She made two tactical errors here, the first was discarding her weapon, but that's minor and forgivable. The second is attacking Gal head on instead of attacking his weakness, the weirdo with the short shorts that he was groping on earlier in the comic. If she'd taken a bat to that guy's head Gal would be forced into reacting possibly blinded by emotion and or loss, at that point Kalita would be in control of the fight. But of course that didn't happen because of typical anime boss fight plot.

To be honest Leyline is , or was, a close friend of Kalita, she would have never thouht of attacking him and there is also the fact that I doubt Gantus care all that much about Leyline to be blinded by rage.
Still Kalita should have atracked Gantus shortly after the sonic bark, as it was the only moment he show a fraction of seconds of opening, but too bad that she was too much traumatized psychologically to think clearly

I take it you've never been in any fist fights where your outnumbered? First rule of engagement there is to always take out whomever is doing the most talking as they are essentially revving all the rest up. In this case that's Leyline whom has betrayed Kalita and thus should be the prime target.

If Kalita was in rational mode and not overwhelmed by emotions, as well as still considering Leyline a little brother till the very end, perhaps she could hav ethought about that. But she was not exactly cold minded in that very moment.

Plus, Gantus set it all up, for the gang to see her as is from his POV. If she took out Leyline, it would make her look EVEN WORSE. Plus she still have to fight Gantus. Her bonds within the gang weren't all that strong as she thought. Pretty much, she was in a LOSE-LOSE situation.

Meanwhile, Muko is getting slammed into the floor so hard her forehead starts bleeding, after which where she will proceed to witness two acts of physical maiming, get demonized as a deviant by her own sexual abuser, kicked out of her house by her self-important sister, and drop-kicked straight into a wall by a jaded loan shark enforcer.

Yesh..Muko got really shitty day as well. Only two points
A)I wouldn't say that Saniko feel self important more likely she got overwhelmed by being the only sane person in the house, considerign ehr father is spiraling into paranoia and Muko just kept trying more and ore dangerous things
B) we know see Why Kalita seem more jaded and we can guess why she kept beign a loan shark enforcer(orphange bills don't pay themselves)

Kalita is having a breakdown as she's running away. This is probably the first time she's ran away from an enemy or the first time in years that she's done so. She lived years thinking that she was strong and now Gantus erased that in a single night.

Kalita is really terrified of Gantus. She's uncharacteristically running away, scared out her mind! Her self-image of being the toughest, strongest individual in town has been shattered Her sanctuary in the Roda Kira gang is gone. The gang and everyone in it are completely different for the worse. She has no close friends or supporters here. (Save for Debbie; Debbie was the only one who truly cared for her.) She is psychologically broken, humiliated, alone and feels so helpless.

As sad and scary things turned out, at least there is the small silver lining that leaving the Roda Kira gang is at least the best for Kalita. She needs to be steered towards something better than this. Debbie was indeed wise enough to quit the biker gang earlier after hurting herself from the motor bike race accident. She forsaw that thing were to get worse under Gantus as their emperor.
