A picture I am doing in a friend of mine's sketchbook.
His name is Teej, and he is an honest to goodness IRL Fireman. So I am drawing his Anthro Character... as a Transformer Firetruck >_>
It's a specific firetruck too :D It's from his current station :D
However it's going to be Re-commissioned becuase the Fire department he is a part of is getting funds cut :( :( :(
So this picture is rather bitter sweet.
Very obviously based around Inferno... but at the same time I used the Quint 13 as hardcore ref for all the little parts and how the windshields and front look >_> (Also I have to nerd out a little at the whole quint 13 thing... quint... Quintison... HAHAHHAHHAHAA)
I am REALLY happy with how this is going so far!
When I am finished with the ink this will go into scraps.

Looks like an Aerial Ladder Truck, one of the most important apparatus in a fire station, a large truck with two steering systems (front and back) and two drivers. The one we had down in Puerto Rico back when I lived there, it was nicknamed the "Brontosaurus" because it was so honking big.
Nice work.
BTW< this is what an Aerial Ladder truck looks like

The truck it is based off of is called a 'Quint' Its kind of a hybrid between an aerial platform and an engine. It has a 500 gal tank,1250 gpm rated pump, 4 200' pre-connect crosslays, 1200' of 4" supply line, and a 75' ladder off the top. Unfortunately our district has no need for a tiller truck.
Well, consider that the tiller is designed to fight fires in high-rises, I figure only the large cities like Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, New York, et-al; have them; yours on the other hand is probably best suited for smaller structure fires, where the highest level structure does not exceed 10 stories.
