This is kind of a teaser for something I may or may not be able to publish later.

The long and the short of it is that it's an RP, and I may post transcripts, but I don't know whether I'll have permission to post it, or if I'll even flesh it out into a story I feel comfortable posting. Either way, I may end up using the city later on, so I feel like I should talk about it.

Basically, it's a huge, walled-in city, and there's others like it on the planet. Walking around outside, there's not much to see, unless something's gone wrong.

Inside, it's a bustling metropolis, with magic and science mixing freely, with portals to new planes as common as off-world transit. Both magic and science have been developed pretty far, but science is more common, after being prevalent on the planet for centuries (thus the atomic devastation) and magic more recently, albeit more rapidly, rediscovered.

The combination of magic and science has lent the world to be the center of many strange and wonderful mutations, as exhibited by some if its inhabitants, especially those with ancestry among the survivors of the world beyond the cities.

This may be the focal point of my summer project. That would be cool, I think.
