Had some mold in my place once and it caused me to be down and out for a month. Getting literally homesick sucks.

Unfortunately germs care not for doorways and locks, could have also just been something hitching a ride on your food, or stress allowed something to gain some traction and kicked your immune system into gear. Just remember, you feeling sick means your body is working hard to fight off the culprit ^-^

I don't really get proper sick often but weather changes mess up my sinuses something fierce and I wish it was a cold or flu so I'd be able to not work. Instead gotta log in and be a grump all day with a sinus headache.

Guess, I might have eaten something that had a tiny-tiny bug on it...
And heck, weather that drills your head is even worse! At least flu doesn't happen to get caught that often
