I'm gonna post some of my school art here for critique. The pieces I post are pieces of an AP (Advanced Placement) portfolio I sent in for an AP Art test (for high school). These pieces are the make of the "breadth" section, which demonstrates your use of the medium in a technical and creative fashion. Please be nice in your critique, offer positive and negative feedback and add any suggestions that I could use to better my skills. These pieces will be scrapped in the future.

I really wish I could come up with better titles xD
So, the idea for this piece was to bring in a picture of your pet (or a pet you wish you had ;D) in and paint them using either a analogous of complementary color scheme. I chose analogous (though it could be complementary xD).
Anyway, this piece took about two weeks (when I worked on it >.>) to finish. I love how it turned out, though I feel the background could use a little more work. I just love the colors x3
I used a photo reference to get the anatomy/proportions correct xD

Done with acrylic on... I'm not sure what size canvas this was... I want to say 16"x18" or 16"x20" xD
